Move your saved tabs from another tab manager or your bookmarks
Years of saved tabs should not keep you in a tool you have outgrown. Export them there and import the file here.
Coming soon to the Chrome Web StoreHow
- In the other tool, export your saved tabs to a file, or copy them as text.
- In Stowback, open the Backup tab and choose the file, or paste the text.
- Everything arrives as snapshots in Saved. Nothing you already have is changed.
What you get
- A bookmarks file exported by any browser: one snapshot per folder.
- Any text with links in it: plain addresses, titles above addresses, or Markdown links.
- Beta: the export files of OneTab (text), Session Buddy (JSON), Tab Session Manager (JSON) and Toby (JSON), read as their makers describe them or as other open-source tools read them.
- A Stowback backup file from another browser or profile.
Limits worth knowing
- The four importers marked beta were built from each tool’s published format and have not been tried on every version of those tools. If a file does not come in as expected, send it to support.
- Tab groups come in only where the file contains them, and Session Buddy files do not carry group names.
- Stowback is not affiliated with the makers of those tools.
This is part of the free plan. See pricing.
